Birmingham arenas seek more unsigned artistes

NEC GROUP venues Arena Birmingham (cap. 15,800) and Resorts World Arena (15,685) are seeking more unsigned acts to play to audiences arriving for concerts.

The Unsigned Stage at Arena Birmingham and the Amstel Stage at Resorts World Arena have already have hosted performances bu more than 150 local acts, including Tori Cross, Mr Macee and Nova Bloom.

“We have welcomed all manner of acts to our stages and encourage any ambitious unsigned performers to get in touch with us,” says NEC Group general manager of arenas Alan Goodman.

“They may even go on to perform on the main stage one day.”

Submissions, which should include a short video, are reviewed by arena staff and successful applicants will be offered the chance to perform..

Upcoming shows at Arena Birmingham include Ariana Grande, Muse and Liam Gallagher, while Resorts World Arena has shows with Khalid, Little Mix and Christina Aguilera.
