Chambers joins Tixserve board

FORMER LIVE Nation Entertainment (LNE) and Ticketmaster (TM) executive, and founder of TicketWeb, Tim Chambers has joined the board of white-label digital ticketing company Tixserve.

Chambers has worked in the live music business for more than 30 years. Previous roles include vice-president of European development at TM and senior vice-president for international corporate development for LNE.

Paperless ticketing platform Tixserve says its track-and-trace technology hinders ticket resale by providing event organisers with the identity of ticket holders and enables artiste and promoters to decide whether a ticket can be exchanged or resold.

The Dublin-based service, which launched in February last year, has secured €250,000 [£220,000] in funding from Enterprise Ireland as part of its High Potential Start-up programme. Chambers will continue to be based in London.
