Echo rebrand by ‘challenger’ bank

18 December 2018

AFTER 10 years as the Echo Arena (cap. 11,000), the Liverpool venue is being rebrand as M&S Bank Arena in January.

The new partnership replaces the Liverpool Echo’s naming right deal with the venue, with the newspaper continuing as a key business partner.

“M&S Bank is one of the UK’s leading challenger banks, with a long-established history in the region.” says Bob Prattey, CEO of the ACC Liverpool Group, which owns the arena and sister venus BT Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre Liverpool.

M&S Bank CEO Sue Fox adds,“We’re very much committed to supporting our local community and over the last 10 years we’ve seen the arena bring a phenomenal breadth of entertainment and cultural events to the city.”

The venue currently has a naming partnership with daily newspaper the Liverpool Echo, who will continue as partners with ACC Liverpool.

Artistes playing the venue include Boyzone, Tears For Fears, Brit Floyd, George Ezra, Bryan Adams, The Vamps and Rita Ora.
