FanFair award for Sam Fender and manager

22 October 2019

THE FANFAIR Alliance Award for Outstanding Contribution to Live Music is being presented to Owen Davies of OD management and his artiste Sam Fender.

The pair will receive the accolade at the Artist & Manager Awards (AMAs), which is organised by the Music Managers Forum (MMF) and Featured Artists Coalition. The ceremony, hosted by Radio 1 presenter Huw Stevens, will take place at London’s Bloomsbury Big Top on 14 November.

“Since the launch of the FanFair campaign there’s been a real clampdown on exploitative practices in the secondary ticketing market,” says FanFair Alliance campaign manager Adam Webb.

“The success of these measures are ultimately down to the efforts of artistes and promoters, and Sam has consistently proven how some fairly simple terms and conditions, and a clear communications strategy, can make a major difference.”

Other award winners include Insanity Group founder Andy Varley, who will collect the Entrepreneur of the Year award.
