LUCY DICKINS has been appointed co-head of WME’s worldwide music division following the departure in the US of WME partner and worldwide head of music Mark Geiger.
Dickins joined WME has head of its UK music division in June last year, having worked at at International Talent Booking (ITB), co-founded by her father Barry, for more than 20 years, representing acts including Adele, Mumford & Sons, Laura Marling, James Blake and Hot Chip.
Geiger, who co-founded the Lolllapalooza festival brand, had been WME head of music since 2009, representing in the US acts including Roger Waters, Lady Gaga and David Byrne.
Kirk Sommer and Scott Clayton will retain their roles as co-heads of music at WME, while co-head of music Sara Newkirk Simon is leaving for a consultancy role at WME’s parent company Endeavor.
“Scott, Lucy and Kirk have distinguished themselves through the artists they have championed, the reputations they’ve built, and the leadership they’ve demonstrated at WME,” says Lloyd Braun, President of WME parent company Endeavor’s representation division.
