KILIMANJARO LIVE has bolstered its team with the addition of former Glasgow-based PCL Presents promoter Jamie Anderson and elevation of intern Peter Thomsen.

Anderson has been in the industry since 2008 and has worked on stadium and arena tours with artistes such as Arcade Fire, Catfish and The Bottlemen, and Jack White. He relocated to London two years ago to work in artiste management.

“It’s a dream come true to make the step from regional promoter, which is what I was doing a PCL, to national with Kili,” Anderson tells LIVE UK.

“I’m starting from scratch, but have got a lot of freedom and will be putting on shows within the next six months.”

Danish-born Thomsen joined Kilimanjaro last year through an internship.

“Peter and Jamie are here to build their own careers as well as those of the artistes they bring in and we’re excited to have them on board and to be able to contribute to their development in the industry,” says Kilimanjaro director and senior promoter Steve Tilley.

Staging 700 shows annually Kilimanjaro, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in January, is promoting Ed Sheeran’s UK stadium tour at venues such as Manchester’s Etihad Stadium (cap. 63,000) and London’s Wembley (98,000), Stereophonics at Cardiff City Stadium (27,000) and Kaiser Chiefs at Live at Chelsea (5,000).
