THE SUBMISSIONS process for the annual Live Music Business Awards closed on Sunday 29 July.
Suggetions for nominations can be made across 23 of the 24 award categories, with only Outstanding Contribution decided by the team at LIVE UK, with help from industry figures.
Successful candidates need to have at least 10 submissions to be elligible and are them whittled down to the top 10-15 in each category, for the voting process in early August
Other award categories include Agent of the Year, Best Festival, Best Venue Teamwork, Artiste Manager of the Year, Best Festival Performance, Regional Promoter of the Year, Breakthrough Artiste and Unsung Hero.
Last year’s Outstanding Contribution wimmer was Neil Warnock, Worldwide head of music at United Talent Agency, who has helped the Nordoff Robbins music therapy charity raise moe than £10 million over its 42-year history.
The gala awards ceremony takes place at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel in London’s West End on Thursday 11 October, and follows the LIVE UK Summit conference and networking event. Tickets cost £135 + VAT. More information can be found at www.livemusicawards.co.uk.
