Building emerging careers - Chaos and Bedlam Management, Herts/London

E:

liza[at]chaosandbedlam.com

Artiste roster:

The Undivided (now KILLJOYS)

Favourite venues for showcasing/playing:

Black Heart, London, The Horn, St Albans, The Joiners, Southampton, The Boileroom, Guildford, The Shed, Leicester, Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff

Importance of playing live:

“Live is very important. It’s where artistes learn to nail their performances and engage in person directly to the fan. You need to get your socials buzzing and with that buzz get fans to shows. Look at where your fans are and play a show in those areas. As you grow your fan base promoters will keep putting you on.”

Other emerging acts to watch:

DEAD!

Greatest lesson learned:

“Not so much for me but as a band - be polite and amicable to a promoter or venue, if rude or a general pain in the arse you won’t get another gig….promoters talk.”

Worst live experience:

“I brought over a Canadian act for a tour and the tour was cancelled a week before it was due to begin.”

Current live projects:

KEID
