MMF promotes key staff after membership surge

12 April 2019

The Music Managers Forum (MMF) has promoted former general manager Fiona McGugan to strategy and operations director, while events coordinator Joseph Lever has been appointed industry relations & events manager.

MMF says it had grown its membership by 25 per cent in the past year to 660 UK-based managers. It also counts major record labels and tech platforms among 40 associate members.

McGugan joined MMF in 2012 and established the Accelerator Programme for Music Managers. The funding and training initiative for artiste, songwriter and producer managers was launched in January, in partnership with YouTube Music, Arts Council England and the Scottish Music Industries Association.
