North-west venue has advantages

OPENED last year, performance complex The Edge (cap. 1,200) in Wigan is now in the market for live music events.

The venue has held its first event, Faith – The George Michael Legacy Tour, and has shows with The Stylistics upcoming, but wants to expand its programme more into music events.

“The auditorium is equipped with professional sound and media systems and a high definition 9m x 3m LED screen,” says business manager Annette Burton.

“Loading access is immediately into the venue and is big enough to drive a vehicle in, so overall it’s a great space, suitable for a range of events.”

Other forthcoming shows feature Stars from the Commitments and Foster & Allen.
