B’ACINO, A 70-capacity bar in Shoreditch, is looking for artistes to play intimate showcase sessions each month.
The newly-opened venue has recently invested in new audio equipment says booker Natasha Lopez, and is an ideal setup up for acts looking to perform in an upmarket environment.
“We’re currently looking to schedule regular music nights each month and have a new PA system for the building – it’s a cosy venue, so it’s an ideal space for those acts who are either solo or playing quieter music,” she says.
The bar’s location, Lopez notes, is in a particularly convenient location, with enthusiastic crowds nearby, which she hopes will encourage acts to get in touch.
“We’re on Scrutton street, so you’ve got the Shoreditch crowds on one side and the City on the other – we’ve quickly ended up becoming a popular place to wind down after-hours, and for showcases we’re spoiled for choice with transport links,” she says.
“There are of course quite a few rough-and-ready venues in the vicinity, so we’re looking to do something a little more subtle and refined here.”
Lopez says that acoustic, indie and solo singers would be particularly welcome.
