Peter Mensch to give key interview

8 January 2018

LEGENDARY ARTISTE manager Peter Mensch, who works with acts such as Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foals, will be the guest interviewee at the Breakfast Meeting session at the 30th edition of the International Live Music Conference (ILMC).

New York-based Mensch started out as a manager at Leber Krebs, where he was responsible for AC/DC, Scorpions, Def Leppard and Michael Schenker.

In 1982 he formed artiste management company Q Prime with business partner, with other then clients including Def Leppard.

He will be interviewed by former Dire Straits and Brian Ferry manager Ed Bicknell.

Other conference sessions include Gender: Calm down, what’s the fuss? chaired by Coda Agency’s Natasha Bent, BREXIT 2025: Looking back with UK Music CEO Michael Dugher and Corridors of power on the venue’s sector, chaired by Kilimanjaro Live CEO Stuart Galbraith.

“We’ve never had an edition of ILMC when there were so many topics to cover,” says ILMC head Greg Parmley. “With some of the industry’s biggest names and most active campaigners already confirmed, it’s shaping up fast.”

ILMC takes place at London’s Royal Garden Hotel between 6-9 March.
