AEG EUROPE is hailing a record year at both its flagship arena The O2 (cap. 21,000) and The SSE Arena, Wembley (12,500), which it operates.

The company says more than two million tickets were sold for shows at The O2 and over one million at The SSE Arena, which reported its busiest year since reopening in 2006.

Sell-outs at The O2 included Paul McCartney, BTS, Arctic Monkeys, Trevor Noah and Andrew Bocelli.

Among more than 157 performances held at The SSE Arena were concerts by George Ezra, Smashing Pumpkins and Slayer.

Upcoming shows at The O2 include Ozzy Osbourne, Shawn Mendes and Ariana Grande, while The SSE Arena plays host to Fatboy Slim, Bryan Adams and Twenty One Pilots.
