Scala rolls with Dice to beat touts

LONDON’S THE Scala (cap. 1,145) has switched to mobile ticketing for all its concerts, partnering with mobile platform Dice, in a bid to keep tickets away from the secondary market.

The King’s Cross venue also hope to benefit from Dice’s concert discovery technology.

“Partnering with an innovative company like Dice means we can provide fans with easy-to-use tickets and most importantly, the move will ensure our tickets don’t appear on the secondary ticketing market,” says Scala event co-ordinator Jane Cotter.

Dice allows users to return unwanted tickets through its app, before returning them to sale at face-value.

“In this partnership, Scala are putting fans first and touts last,” says Dice MD Russ Tannen.

Forthcoming concerts are Scala feature Jake Shears, Pheobe Bridgers and Soccer Mommy.
