SEC’s Harwood takes top award

THE NATIONAL Arenas Association’s (NAA) outstanding contribution award has been presented to Anne-Marie Harwood, market research manager at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow.

The award is in recognition of the 18 years Harwood has compiled the NAA’s annual statistics, while working at SEC which encompasses the SSE Hydro (cap. 13,000) and SEC Armadillo (3,000).

“The NAA’s annual statistics are the definitive guide to the trends in the Arena industry, accounting for over 13.6 million visits in 2017,” says NAA chairman Martin Ingham. “Anne-Marie’s in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm has been essential in developing the reporting and presentation of the information into ever more useful segments and reports over many years.”

Previous winners of the award include SJM Concerts’ Matt Wooliscroft and Kennedy Street Enterprise’s Danny Betesh.
