SHOWCASE FESTIVAL Sound City will be taking place across a range of warehouses, outdoor stages and pop-ups across Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle and Cains Brewery area for its 11th edition.

Staged from 5-6 May, more than 250 acts will perform at the event, with conference Sound City + taking place on 4 May.

“We are going back to our roots to really capture the magic of what Sound City was always built upon,” says the event’s chief operating officer Becky Ayres. “We are bringing lots of inspiring and wild shows, all within minutes’ walk from each other, with a vast range of live performers.”

Last October it was revealed the event would be visiting towns between Manchester and Liverpool and along the M62 corridor, as part of Sound City Satellite (see LIVE UK issue 213), ahead of the main festival and conference.
