THE 12TH annual LIVE UK Summit is to reinstate a conference session on sponsorship, following recent developments across the country including the rebranding of a concert venue.
Other sessions at the event, organised by LIVE UK, include Fields of Change, which will focus on the festival sector; Supply and Demand – venues; The Discovery Panel – finding and developing new talent, and Masters of the Universe, featuring the stories of major international players.
“With yet another venue, Liverpool Olympia, being rebranded in a naming rights deal, it’s time to take another look at the sponsorship sector and what it has to offer,” says Summit executive producer Steve Parker.
The event, to be held at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel in London’s West End on Thursday 11 October, attracts more than 300 live music industry professionals and speakers from a broad spectrum of sectors, ranging from venue operators and festival organisers to agents, artiste managers, tech companies and service suppliers.

The conference is followed in the evening by the Live Music Business Awards www.livemusicwards.co.uk, with honours presented across 24 categories, including National promoter of the Year, Best Festival, Manager of the Year and Best Venue Teamwork.
