Troxy and DICE team-up to keep touts out

EAST LONDON’S    3,100-capacityTroxy has joined forces with ticketing platform DICE to become the world’s largest mobile-only and seemingly now tout-proof venue.

The move to digital will put fans first by implementing DICE’s mobile-only tickets to stop reselling, as well as selling tickets through the show and allowing refunds up to moments before an event starts.

“Teaming up with DICE showcases a new chapter for us,” says Troxy general manager Tom Sutton-Roberts

“As the world’s biggest mobile-only venue, we’re embracing innovative technology that favours both fans and artists.”

DICE UK MD Russ Tannen adds, “We have to beat the touts and Troxy joining the DICE family is a big win for fans who won’t be seeing inflated prices at this iconic venue.”

And for those fans not blessed with smart phone, tickets for Troxy shows are still available online and collection at the box office, with proof of purchase.

Adam Webb, campaign manager for artiste manager-funded anti-touting campaign group FanFair Alliance says, “DICE have been long-time supporters of the FanFair campaign, and this is another welcome step forward to ensure ticket resale works for fans and not touts.”
