UK expansion for European promoter

PAN-EUROPEAN festival and concert promoter FKP Scorpio has hired former DHP Family executives Scott O’Neill and Daniel Ealam.

The duo will join Barry Campbell and James Cassidy on the board of FKP Scorpio UK, which was launched in 2008. Its recent projects include arena tours of BBC Earth nature documentaries, Blue Planet II and Planet Earth II Live-In-Concert.

Based in Hamburg, FKP Scorpio is part of ticketing giant CTS Eventim’s pan-European promoter network Eventim Live.

O’Neil joined DHP Family in 2010. Five years later he launched London festival Mirrors, as well as promoting tours.

Ealam was responsible for DHP’s three city centre Dot To Dot festivals and its artist management division. He was appointed director of live at the in 2016.

“We are convinced that with their support we will be able to significantly expand our activities in the UK”, said FKP CEO Folkert Koopmans.
