THE WINNERS for this year’s Outstanding Attitude Awards have been announced by disabled and deaf access campaigner Attitude Is Everything (AIE).

Among those who received Access Starts Online Awards are Deer Shed Festival (cap. 6,500) for Outdoor Event,  The SSE Arena (10,800) in Belfast – Venue Over 500 Capacity and Manchester’s Band on the Wall (340) – Venue Under 500 Capacity.

Gigloo won the Accessible Infrastructure Award, while the Ticketing Without Barriers Award went to The Ticket Factory & CredAbility Access Card

AEG Presents British Summer Time (65,000) series of multi-artiste concerts in London’s Hyde Park scooped two – the Customer Service Award and the event Ticketing Without Barriers Award.

“It was an awesome shortlist and I would like to congratulate all of the nominees and winners,” says AIE CEO Suzanne Bull MBE,

“There can’t be many award shows that cover nominations from live music’s biggest and most recognised global brands, next to those from outdoor toilet specialists and tiny local venues.”

The ceremony took place at London’s Islington Assembly Hall on 12 March.
